What are the odds for OSXLatitude supporting the ASUS UX31A Zenbook Prime for running Hackintosh?

The price (1400EUR) is fairly high for a UX31A-R4003V, but the specsheet is much better than a Macbook Air .. and to die for:

- Intel Core i7 3517U
- Intel Mobile HM76
- Intel HD Graphics
- 13" Full HD 1080p IPS panel
- 256GB SSD

MacBook Air comparison: http://blog.laptopma...31a-the-rematch
MacBook Retina comparison: http://forums.macrum...d.php?t=1396676 ... hmz they're talking about a Asus UX32VD-DB71 as well. Same CPU for 1100EUR, swapping out the HDD for SSD & throwing in 10GB of RAM. Check how

F*cking AWESOME! But can it run OSX? :P

Sure: http://zenbook.asus....k/?c=prime_ux32

Just for the record. The USA model is called DB71. It's identical to the European R4002V. There are two other UX32 models; don't get them! No discrete graphics, plus poor i3 and i5 performance.

I can waste countless hours on researching what I could be buying next, or just buy it :) so just ordered an UX32VD-R4002 + Corsair 8GB memory expansion and 128GB Samsung 830 SSD.

And while at it ... HP Laserjet Pro P1102W (with support for Apple Airprint). The Office is paying for it anyway :D Having a home based global business is awesome B)

It works. I have a UX21A. You may want to check this thread:

http://www.insanelym...c/page__st__100

Still many Fn key and trackpad issues, and you need to switch out your wireless network card. I have sleep issues--and my laptop does too :-), but that's because I haven't customized my DSDT file--hoping OSXLatitude can help.
