Fastest mean to install OSX

The first step is to create a USB stick and install into a partition. Upon reboot after GUI installation, do not allow the machine reboot to configuration. But use a Hackintosh to clone that partition into a harddisk image (e.g. Carbon Copy Cloner ot SuperDuper).
The essence of this image is that it contains all the essential files but not the machine specific kext files.
For example if I have a D630, I move in the bootpack into the /Extra after restoration into a new machine harddisk (also add the bootloader). The result will be quick start of an almost installed OSX for that machine. Once you configure the user, apply the latest edp installer will turn the machine into a fully operable hackintosh.
A few requirements are needed
1. need to know the machine is supported and specific driver. For support machines like Dell in this forum, one can quick add the required files into the /Extra
2. a few more extra installation steps but faster to get a working machine.
3. selection of bootloader. I suggest to use myHack text mode bootloader. In my machines, it is more compatible than the latest. Also I prefer text mode rather the GUI bootloader as booting processing (with verbose) much faster

Nice post.
I myself also always make an image of my new os x installation (including usb installer) so that i don't have to reinstall each time it breaks. However, i usually use disk utility from my working os x either on external or internal hard disk whenever i need to backup or restore it.
Good work.
Cheers!

I have been playing with Lion and Mountain Lion for a while recently. After understanding more on the hardware issues, I figure out a way to install OSX faster in different machines. There is no need to reinstall from your USB stick or DVD.

This work flow process is fine and dandy but only limited to advanced user who have an installed "Hackinstoshes". Yes or No?

You are correct. For advanced user and with Hackintosh. However, even several installations, users can get much more experience.
Most difficult part is to understand various kext and dsdt

iMick has optimized my kext and dsdt but I can just reproduce some not all. Hence my suggestion is to follow my steps in the threads above.
